This conference will focus broadly on discourse theories and their application to the biblical languages.
Dallas International University is pleased to announce the second Discourse Conference, to be held January 10, 2026. This one-day event builds on the success of the inaugural 2024 conference and continues the conversation on how discourse studies illuminate our understanding of biblical texts. Considering both well-established and emerging approaches to biblical interpretation, we invite scholars, graduate students, and practitioners to submit paper proposals engaging the structure, function, and meaning of biblical texts through the lens of discourse.
